　　南澳三所頂尖大學(xué)又要合并？

　　工黨承諾，如果贏得2022年的州大選，將成立大學(xué)合并委員會，考慮將南澳的三大大學(xué)合并為一所。

　　其實(shí)早在八月，就已經(jīng)提過一次合并了。

　　而這次又重提合并，給出的理由是該州的經(jīng)濟(jì)和人民的未來取決于其高等教育機(jī)構(gòu)的成功，而這些機(jī)構(gòu)未能進(jìn)入世界前100名大學(xué)排名。工黨將利用委員會 “制定一條道路”，將阿德萊德大學(xué)、弗林德斯大學(xué)和南澳大學(xué)合并。

　　“如果我們要吸引研究人員到這里來，如果我們要把最好最聰明的學(xué)生留在這里，如果我們要讓學(xué)生......從州際和海外選擇南澳州，南澳州回到大學(xué)的頂級排名中去，這是絕對必要的�！�

　　但是也有人表示阿德萊德大學(xué)和南澳大學(xué)(UniSA)在2018年曾就合并進(jìn)行了數(shù)月的談判。但在同一天大學(xué)理事會分別召開會議后，談判戲劇性地破裂了。

　　馬歇爾說：“我認(rèn)為南澳大利亞的大學(xué)有能力自己坐下來討論合并問題�！�

　　阿德萊德大學(xué)時(shí)任校長Kevin Scarce之前寫信給員工，稱合并兩所大學(xué)仍符合州政府的最佳利益。但UniSA副校長David Lloyd在給員工的郵件中表示，合并 “沒有令人信服的理由”。
